19.1 Setup and access
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| The setup banner will not go away | Run Complete Setup as a site owner on a published page, not in page edit mode |
| Setup fails while creating lists | The account needs Full Control on the site; ask a site owner to run setup |
| Settings is missing from the sidebar | Ask an app administrator to add you under Settings → Roles & Permissions → Administrators |
| The whole app is locked behind a paywall | The trial has ended — open Settings → Subscription or contact your administrator |
| Navigation items are missing | Your assigned role does not grant access; ask an administrator to review your role |
19.2 Email and calendar
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| No email is being sent | Check Settings → Email Integration; if the mode is Microsoft Graph, confirm Mail.Send has been approved |
| A banner asks for Mail.Send approval | A tenant administrator approves it in SharePoint Admin Center → Advanced → API access |
| No calendar invitation was created | Calendars.ReadWrite has not been approved; the interview is still saved and you can invite attendees manually |
| The old invitation is still in my calendar after rescheduling | Rescheduling creates a new event; delete the superseded entry yourself |
| Candidates report not receiving messages | Check the audit log for the send event, then check the recipient's spam filtering |
19.3 Hiring data
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| The requisition picker on Pipeline is empty | Only Open and Approved requisitions appear; check the requisition status |
| A candidate cannot be dragged to Hired or Rejected | Those are outcome stages — use the hire and reject actions instead |
| The reject button will not complete | A disposition code and a written reason are both mandatory |
| A candidate cannot be added to the talent pool | Consent must be recorded on the candidate before they can be pooled |
| Peer scorecards are not visible | Blind review is on — submit your own scorecard to reveal the rest |
| A requisition cannot be deleted | Only Draft and Cancelled requisitions can be deleted, and only with the delete permission |
| Source reporting looks fragmented | Values were free-typed; consolidate them in the Sources lookup list |
19.4 Display and performance
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| The app looks cramped in a narrow page | Place the web part in a full-width section on the SharePoint page |
| Charts are not shown | Show dashboard charts is switched off in Settings → Appearance |
| The SharePoint chrome is distracting | Use Settings → Appearance to hide the page bar, suite bar, or left navigation |
| The Teams tab shows different data | Confirm the tab points at the SharePoint page on the correct site |
19.5 Getting help
- Email support@chronodat.com for licensing, configuration, and technical questions.
- Include your SharePoint site URL, the app version shown in Settings → General, and a screenshot of the problem.
- For a guided walkthrough or a demonstration, use the contact form on the Chronodat website.
Additional App Functionality
Before You Contact Support
- Reproduce the issue and note the exact steps that led to it.
- Check the audit log — it often shows what actually happened to a record.
- Confirm your assigned role grants the action you are trying to perform.
- Try the same action as a site owner to rule out a permission problem.
- Note the app version from Settings → General so support can match it to a build.
