6.1 Assign learners

  • Open Assignments from the AUTHOR section.
  • Create an assignment for a person, group, site, or Entra ID group.
  • Set due date, availability window, and an optional max-attempts override.
  • Renewal assignments from expiring certificates get a fresh attempt budget.

6.2 What learners see

Assigned work appears on My Learning with the status chips described in the application tour. Email notifications go out when Graph Mail.Send or the Chronodat mail path is configured.
