11.1 Facilitator: Run a Session

  1. Create a room and name the session. Pick the format, and a deck for planning poker.
  2. Name topics now, or start an open room and name each vote after the lobby.
  3. Share the six-character code, the link, or the QR code.
  4. Start voting. Switch between list and table if you want people seated around the table.
  5. Wait for votes, then Reveal votes (R). Discuss the spread, Re-vote if needed, pick the final estimate, and Save and next (or Save and next vote in an open room).
  6. End session, then review the summary. Results stay in History and can be exported.

11.2 Team Member: Join & Vote

  1. Enter the six-character code on the home screen, or open the shared link.
  2. If the session is still in the lobby, wait there. When voting starts, select a card. Your vote stays private until reveal.
  3. Use Spectator mode if you are watching and should not vote.
  4. After reveal, discuss. Vote again if the facilitator reopens the round.

11.3 Administrator: Deploy & Govern

  1. Upload estimatr.sppkg to the tenant App Catalog and deploy it. Use Sync to Teams when the team should open the same app.
  2. Add Sprint Align to a page on a dedicated subsite and publish.
  3. Choose Start setup so the site gets its hidden lists and default deck.
  4. Set who can create sessions, app admins, branding, home-page text, and layout.
  5. Manage the yearly subscription for this SharePoint site from Settings → Subscription.
