Overview

Sprint Align brings planning poker and agile estimation into the tools your team already uses. Scrum teams, product owners, and delivery leads run facilitator-led estimation sessions — planning poker, confidence checks, fist-of-five, dot voting, and quick surveys — without exporting backlog data to yet another SaaS tool.

Everything runs on SharePoint Online: sessions, votes, decks, and settings live in lists on your own site, so your data never leaves your tenant. Participants join by link or a six-character code, and identity comes from Microsoft 365 automatically — no separate sign-in.

Frequently asked questions

Where is our estimation data stored?

All sessions, votes, decks, and settings are stored in SharePoint lists on your own site. There is no external estimation server — your data stays inside your Microsoft 365 tenant.

Do participants need a separate account?

No. Sprint Align uses Microsoft 365 sign-in. Participants open a link or enter a six-character join code, and their identity is resolved automatically.

Can we use it inside Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Add Sprint Align as a Teams tab and run the same experience your team uses on SharePoint pages, backed by the same lists.

What estimation styles are supported?

Planning poker with Fibonacci or custom decks, confidence (1–5), fist-of-five, roman votes, dot voting, and quick surveys.

How is it licensed?

Licensing is per site collection, not per user seat, and includes a 14-day free trial. Site owners manage the subscription from Settings.

What do we need to deploy it?

Microsoft 365 with SharePoint Online, a SharePoint or Global Administrator to upload the package to the tenant App Catalog, and site owner permissions for first-time list provisioning.
