2.1 The Home Screen
The home screen is the launch pad for estimation. From here you can:
- Join a session by entering a six-character code from your facilitator.
- Create a room to start a session. Name the topics now, or start an open room and name each vote as you go.
- Launch demo, when an administrator has turned on Mock demo data in Settings → Advanced. The demo uses a mock team and sample backlog. You can also join with code
DEMO01. Nothing is saved to SharePoint.
During a trial, the home screen shows days remaining, Subscribe yearly, and View plan. You can dismiss that banner until the trial end date changes.
2.2 Navigation & Chrome
The header shows the app name, History, and — for site owners and app admins — Settings. Layout settings can hide the SharePoint left navigation, the command bar, and the Microsoft 365 top bar for a workshop-style page.
2.3 Light and Dark Mode
The home header has Light and Dark buttons. Settings → Branding can follow the SharePoint or Teams theme automatically, force light or dark, or hide the home-page switch.
