Who this guide is for

This knowledge base is for site owners, IT administrators, support agents, and employees who submit requests in Help Desk 365.

  • Alex Rivera (User) — Marketing Coordinator. Creates requests and watches My Dashboard / My Requests.
  • Jordan Hale (Agent) — IT Support Specialist. Works the unassigned queue, assigns tickets, and uses the Requests Board.
  • Priya Shah (Admin) — IT Service Manager. Configures Settings, lookups, security, and analytics.

What the app does

Help Desk 365 tracks support requests in your Microsoft 365 tenant. Users submit tickets, agents assign and resolve work, and administrators manage categories, notifications, branding, and licensing.

How data is stored

Ticket data lives in SharePoint lists on the site where you add the web part. Optional email uses Microsoft Graph Mail.Send. There is no separate Chronodat ticket database.

Help Desk 365 architecture
Users and Teams connect to the SPFx app. Lists stay in your SharePoint site.
