Guide summary

The details panel shows a preview, the summary, and the properties, then opens the file in SharePoint.

Open a result

Choose a title to open the details panel. The panel shows a preview when SharePoint can draw one, then the summary and the properties: author, site, department, size, modified date, and path.

Summary

A summary that arrives as one glued line, such as a risk notice, is split into labeled fields when the text has a clear structure. A plain summary stays as a paragraph.

Actions

  • Open result goes to the file or page.
  • Open location goes to the library or site.
  • Copy URL copies the path.
