Setup
- On-premises SharePoint Server is not supported. Use SharePoint Online.
- Only a site owner, or someone with Full Control, can run Setup, and only on the page that hosts the web part.
- If lists are missing, run Setup again. Setup creates or repairs the schema.
- After Setup, Settings should show every required list. Do not rename those lists.
Settings is hidden
Settings is limited to app administrators. Site owners are added during setup. Anyone else needs to be added under Settings, then Security, as an app administrator, or placed in a SharePoint group whose role includes setup.
A later tab is locked
Later tabs stay locked until you advance the process phase. Move one phase at a time: initialization, vendor process, technical analysis, vendor selection, purchase orders, logistics, accounting, then closed.
Email does not send
- Approve Mail.Send in SharePoint Admin Center, then Advanced, then API access.
- Graph sends from the signed-in user's mailbox. Outlook shows that person, not Procurement Hub.
- A custom From name needs a shared mailbox or the Chronodat API.
- Power Automate is available when you do not want Graph to send the message.
- Requests, documents, and reports still work when email is not approved.
The app is blocked after the trial
The 14-day trial is per Microsoft 365 tenant. After it ends, the paywall blocks the app except Settings and Subscription. Open Settings, then Subscription, to subscribe.
Someone has the wrong role
Check the four SharePoint groups and User Assignments. Group membership grants the mapped role. If a person is in more than one group, the higher role wins. SharePoint site permissions still decide whether they can open the page at all.
