Onboard, request, award, and close.

Site owner: first day

  • Deploy procurement-hub.sppkg to the tenant App Catalog.
  • Add Chronodat Procurement Hub to a modern full-width page, or sync it to Teams.
  • Run Setup and confirm Settings lists every required list.
  • Add people to the four SharePoint groups, or assign them under Settings, then Security.
  • Ask a tenant administrator to approve Mail.Send if the site will send Graph email.

Administrator: prepare the register

  • Add clients, projects, vendors, categories, currencies, and document types.
  • Set category defaults for the category buyer and the logistics coordinator.
  • Attach form templates to categories that need extra fields.
  • Review phases and statuses so they follow the lifecycle order.

Buyer: one request

  • From the dashboard or All requests, choose New request.
  • Complete initialization: client, category, buyers, dates, and amount. Save. The request number is assigned on save.
  • Advance one phase at a time. Invite vendors and capture bids, compare submissions, award a vendor, record purchase orders, logistics, and accounting.
  • Upload quotes, approvals, and supporting files to RequestDocuments and tag the request and document type.
  • Close the request. It remains as a historical record.

Report

Open Reports, pick columns from requests, vendors, clients, or categories, and export the result. The dashboard remains the place to see open work, vendor-process work, closed work, and phase distribution.
