Email notifications
A custom From display name is not available with Graph Mail.Send unless you use a shared mailbox or the Chronodat API.
- Microsoft Graph Mail.Send sends as the signed-in user.
- Power Automate can deliver the notification instead.
- The Chronodat API is the third delivery option.
A tenant administrator must approve Mail.Send in SharePoint Admin Center, then Advanced, then API access. Until that permission is approved, Graph email does not send. The request lists still work.
The path is: someone acts on a request, the notification service runs, and delivery goes out through Graph, the Chronodat API, or Power Automate.
Microsoft Teams
- From the App Catalog, use Sync to Teams.
- Add Procurement Hub as a personal app or as a channel tab.
- The tab reads the same SharePoint lists. There is no separate Teams database.
Teams support is why the package is deployed for the whole tenant rather than one site feature.
