Your name, tone, greeting, and signature are saved with the Outlook mailbox. The next draft uses those settings until you change them.

What you can set

  • Tone and length, including a short or medium reply.
  • Greeting, and paragraphs or bullets.
  • Match the language of the email, or translate the draft.
  • Words you never want in a reply.
  • The signature that sits under the inserted draft.

Pane language

The task pane is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese. That display language is separate from the language of the reply.
