Guide summary

The open message is forwarded to the provider you chose. Chronodat does not store the message or the key.

What is sent

When you ask for a draft or a summary, the open message is sent to Wordback at wordback.chronodat.com and forwarded to the AI provider you chose. That includes the subject, body, quoted earlier messages, and image or text attachments on that item. Email addresses and message ids are removed first. Polish and Translate send the draft that is already in the pane.

What Chronodat does not keep

  • Chronodat does not keep the message, the attachments, the draft, or the API key.
  • Wordback does not call Microsoft Graph. The manifest permission is ReadWriteItem on the open item.
  • Wordback does not store mail in a Chronodat database and does not use mailbox content for advertising.

What stays with the mailbox

Your name, tone, signature, branding, and the saved key are stored with the Outlook mailbox as add-in roaming settings, and in the browser that opened the pane. Remove the add-in to stop new drafts. Clear the key under Preferences, then AI.
