Who can open the app

Site owners can always open the app and change settings. An owner can add up to 40 app admins. An app admin is a person or a SharePoint group on this site. Settings stays limited to site owners and app admins. Other people who can open the host site still see the access message.

App access settings
Search, add, and remove admins, then save.

Removing an app admin also removes that principal from the hidden lists the next time a site owner opens the app and the list permissions are updated.

Price

Permissions Manager 365 is $499 per year for unlimited users in the tenant. A 14-day trial starts on first use of the site. The app owns the trial. Checkout and the billing portal run on the Chronodat subscription service at subscription.chronodat.com.

Subscription page during the trial
Subscribe from the trial notice or from this page.

While the trial is active, a notice can appear at the top of each page. Anyone can dismiss the notice for that trial on their browser. After the trial ends, the app asks for a subscription before the other pages open. If the subscription service cannot be reached, that is a network, firewall, or proxy problem. It does not mean the trial ended.

License key

A signed license key remains a valid way to open the app. Paste it on the subscription page and activate it. The key is checked in the browser.

  • A site key must match this site.
  • A tenant key must match this tenant.
  • The key must be for Permissions Manager 365, and it must be inside its valid dates.

What the check sends

The subscription check sends the host site, tenant, product, and the signed-in email. Permission data, names, and site URLs stay in the browser. The app does not collect card data. A browser check is commercial friction for honest customers, not a security boundary. SharePoint still authorizes every read and write.
